Right off the bat let me inform you: I am pro-choice, LBGTQ friendly, and quite liberal. Get over it :)
I'm kinda big on openness, honesty, and respect. Don't expect me to hide my opinions or beliefs. I consider every moment to be a blessing and a platform. I firmly believe in equality across race, gender, socioeconomic background, and sexual orientation. I am also an advocate for the fight to stop violence against women. I'm a survivor. And, you can be sure, I'm not going to give up.
I am also a woman of faith. It is this dedication to my faith that has led me to the ability to let go and let God. Finally, I am able to say that I'm in a happy place in my life. I've changed for the better and pushed passed obstacles I never thought I'd overcome. I'm a sophomore in college. I'm a double English/History major. I have not only discovered who my true friends are in life, but I have also developed new friendships with the most amazing people. These people help me through so much. I spend 9 months of the year in a long distance relationship. It's tough. But, so worth it :)
My family life has been chaotic at best, destructive at worst. But, I would do anything for them. My brother, Christopher, and my sister, Kelly, mean more to me than I could ever express.
Honestly, I'm just a young woman trying to make my way through this thing called life.
